Purpose:

    The Community/School Education Center ~Title I Parent Center is designed to bring the home, community, and school closer together. More parent involvement in a child's education is our focus.

The goal of the center is to enable parents to work more effectively with their children at home so that all students will have a better education.

Materials, equipment, and information will be provided to assist parents, students, and teachers.

General Information:

   The Community School Education ~ Title I Parent Center is located behind the Pearl River Day Care Center, building number 260. The telephone numbers are 601-656-5724, 601-656-0767, or 601-656-5251,ext. 7360, 7361. The center is open each day Monday-Friday from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. (after hours by appointment)

         The Bogue Homa and Crystal Ridge education Resource Centers are equipped with state of the art computer systems with Internet access. Both centers offer a wide variety of educational resources for children, parents, and community members.

    Mobile Education Resource Center

         The resource bus is an on-wheels version of the Community School Education Center. It is designed to promote parent involvement by providing access to enrichment activities.
