Exceptional Education

The Choctaw Tribal Schools Exceptional Education Program participates in an ongoing effort to identify, locate, and evaluate children from birth to age twenty-one, who may be developmentally, physically, emotionally, communicatively, mentally, or academically disabled, as well as school age children who may be talented and gifted. The Exceptional Education Program works to provide education and to meet the individual needs of all children determined in need of exceptional education services in hopes of helping each and every exceptional child to reach his/her potential. In the Early Education Intervention Program, the Choctaw Alternative Center, Institutional Placement Program, Exceptional Education Resource/Functional Skills Classrooms, Vocational Program, Family Services, Speech/ Language Therapy, and the Talented and Gifted Program.
